Introducing the Senior Women Golfers Blog

Golf is like life.  You can make a good shot and get a bad lie.  Or you can make a bad shot and get a good lie. Play the ball where it lies.”

I started golfing in my early 20’s but didn’t golf regularly until after I got married in my early 30’s.  My husband and I loved golfing together and took our clubs with us wherever we went.

Now, at the age of 66, I’ve been a widow for nearly 8 years. After a rather extended period of grief and transition, I’m finding a lot of comfort and enjoyment golfing with my widowed and otherwise single lady friends who are avid golfers too.

In that spirit, I thought it would be fun to start a blog on all things golf for women in their senior years. I’m just a women who loves golf and wants to enjoy my senior years, looking for like-minded people

Will you join me on my journey as a senior woman golfer?
